Acts 25: God Will Have The Final Word — Ps Karen Scharli — 23 Aug 2026

• Trust God’s timing when vindication is delayed: God does not always bring immediate resolution when we are misunderstood or falsely accused. Like Paul, we can remain faithful and trust that delays do not mean God has forgotten us or abandoned His purpose for our lives.

• Respond from God’s Word rather than from the wound: False accusations and difficult relationships can tempt us to react from anger, hurt or pride. Instead of giving in to such temptation, we should allow the Holy Spirit to guide us with discernment, wisdom and the right words, knowing when to speak, when to establish boundaries and when to be still.

• Use wisdom and appropriate authority without losing your peace: Faith does not mean becoming passive or allowing others to walk over us. Like Paul, we can use the rights and opportunities available to us without becoming combative, seeking revenge or allowing injustice to change who we are.

• Refuse to let accusations define your identity: Other people’s opinions, rejection, past experiences and false accusations do not determine who we are. Our identity is found in Christ, and we must not allow painful experiences to keep us trapped in the past or cause us to abandon the calling God has given us.

• Allow difficult seasons to become platforms for God’s purpose: Paul’s imprisonment appeared to delay his journey to Rome, yet God used those very circumstances to create opportunities for Paul to speak about Jesus. What looks like a delay or setback can become part of how God prepares us, develops our character and opens doors for His purposes.

• Keep your heart, hands and assignment faithful while you wait: When we are waiting for God to bring vindication, we must keep our hearts free from bitterness, our hands free from retaliation and our focus on what God has called us to do. We do not need to chase every accusation or convince everyone; we can keep serving, worshipping, obeying and trusting God as our vindicator.
