• Your testimony is an act of worship: Every person has a story, and God can use every chapter of our journey for His glory. We do not need a perfect story or a perfect ending; we can simply testify to God’s faithfulness and what He has done in our lives.
• Let Jesus be the focus of your story: Our testimony is not about how great we were or how dramatic our story is, but about how great Jesus is. We do not need to compare our experiences with others; every story is unique, and every testimony can point people towards God.
• Allow the Holy Spirit to use your story: Your testimony can open conversations and create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus. You do not need a microphone, a platform or perfect words; be authentic, share what God has done, and trust the Holy Spirit to guide you in what to say and when to say it.
• See your everyday life as a mission field: Our workplaces, schools, neighbourhoods, families and friendships are opportunities to represent Jesus. We are not just called to receive from God when we gather together, but also to be released into what He has called us to do, carrying His presence, love and hope into the places He sends us.
• Stand faithfully when sharing your faith is difficult: Not everyone will understand or agree with our faith, but we do not need to respond with fear or conflict. Like Paul, we can remain faithful to our calling, speak about Jesus with courage and grace, and trust God to work in people’s hearts.
• Pray for boldness and take the next opportunity: Prayer prepares us to recognise the people God has placed around us and to respond when the Holy Spirit prompts us. Start with one person, ask God for an open door, and be willing to share what Jesus has done in your life, knowing that God can use your testimony to bring hope and point others to Him.
